On the morning of October 11, Li Wenbo, Party Secretary and Director of the Science and Technology Committee of Putuo District, Shanghai, Zhang Jiaji, Deputy Director, Wang Youqiang, Director of Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center, Zhou Qingfeng, Party Branch Secretary, and Gong Wenjun, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Changfeng Group, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) for an exchange focused on exploring cooperation in the field of new type power systems.
Dean Kang Chongqing, Deputy Dean Lu Chao, and others from EEA attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Dean Zheng Zedong. During the meeting, Li Wenbo introduced the development of Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center and the background of Putuo District’s efforts to introduce major innovative projects in the energy sector. Zhang Jiaji provided an overview of the current development status and future planning of Putuo District. Zheng Zedong also gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of EEA. Both sides held a detailed discussion on the model for building a collaborative research platform, the scope of major projects, and how to refine and launch the existing cooperation framework.
In the end, both sides reached a preliminary consensus on further deepening cooperation and jointly building an innovative research platform.
