The Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) currently has over 100 faculty members serving as graduate advisors, with over 60 of them supervising doctoral students.
Starting from the intake of students in 2018, the department no longer admits academic-oriented master’s students. Instead, all admitted students pursue the professional degree of Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on Energy Internet).
As of April 2024, there are a total of 574 graduate students enrolled, with 394 pursuing doctoral degrees and 180 pursuing master’s degrees.
