On the morning of April 23, Dean Xu Zhihong, Deputy Dean Wang Wu and Assistant Dean Zhang Yiming of College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, as well as Director Shu Shengwen of the Department of Electrical Power, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA), Tsinghua University for research and exchange. Dean Kang Chongqing, Deputy Dean Zhang Pinjia, Assistant Dean Hu Wei and Sun Kai from EEA attended the discussion.
At the exchange meeting
During the exchange meeting, Xu Zhihong introduced the history, discipline construction, faculty, and talent cultivation of College of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University. Kang Chongqing warmly welcomed the delegation. Participants from both sides engaged in in-depth and enthusiastic discussions on topics such as discipline construction, talent introduction, undergraduate training programs, graduate student enrollment and training, and undergraduate teaching laboratory construction, sharing specific measures and beneficial experiences.
After the meeting, the delegation from Fuzhou University visited the State Key Laboratory of New type Power System Operation and Control, the teaching and research platforms of Power Electronics and Electric Machine, and gained a deeper understanding of EEA’s achievements in various fields in recent years.
This research visit deepened mutual understanding between the two universities, established a platform for communication and cooperation, and laid the foundation for both sides to leverage their respective strengths to jointly promote the improvement of academic standards and the quality of talent cultivation in the future.
