On the morning of March 22, Technical Exchange Meeting between Shudao Investment Group (SDIG) and Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA), Tsinghua University was successfully held in Room 2-203 of the West Main Building. Attendees included Liao Zhiyong, Head of the Science and Technology Innovation Department of SDIG; Wang Sicheng, Chairman of Shudao Clean Energy Group; Sun Zhou, Chief Technology Officer; Liu Bin, Head of the Science and Technology Innovation Department; Zhou Rongqiang, Chairman of Shudao Xinzhi Technology Company; Lu Chao, Deputy Dean of EEA; Lu Zongxiang, Executive President of the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute; Liu Yi, Vice President; Zhang Bo, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of New Type Power System Operation and Control; and Sun Kai, Assistant Dean of EEA. The meeting was chaired by Lu Chao from EEA.
During the symposium, Lu Chao delivered the welcoming speech, Liao Zhiyong introduced the overall situation of SDIG and the background of this research visit, expressing hope to expand cooperation with Tsinghua University based on the foundation of cooperation at the Tsinghua Sichuan Institute, and to enhance comprehensive cooperation in clean energy, transportation, and new energy system technologies, making full use of the advantages of both sides. Sun Zhou introduced the key demonstrations and scenario requirements of Shudao Clean Energy Group in transportation, energy, and transportation. Lu Chao introduced the overall discipline construction of EEA and the key research directions in energy and transportation fields. Zhang Bo introduced the construction and cooperation of the State Key Laboratory, and Liu Yi introduced the relevant situation of industrial cooperation at Tsinghua Sichuan Institute. Subsequently, both parties conducted specialized technical exchanges on topics such as large-scale energy base transmission, flexible traction power supply for rail transit, and clean energy safety and intelligent operation and maintenance. Both sides agreed to advance cooperation in industrial base carrier collaboration, new energy base planning and transmission, and scientific and technological cooperation research in a timely manner, leveraging the advantages of both sides to form comprehensive solutions and promote the development of the western Sichuan new energy base, empowering Sichuan’s advantageous industries.
