On the morning of January 7, 2022, the Department of Electrical Engineeringhelda mobilization meeting of application for the2022 National Natural Science Foundation in the lecture hall of the West Main Building.
Yu Zhanqing,DeputyDean of the Department of Electrical Engineering, presided over the meeting and gave a mobilization speech.Starting with the significance of applying for the National Natural Science Foundation of China,heemphasized the importance of undertaking funded projects to improve the quality of scientific research and academic level, introduced the outline of the Department undertaking the National Natural Science Foundation projects in recent year, and summarized the application for projects in 2021. The Department of Electrical Engineering has achieved practical results in the funded projectsby focusing on organization and mobilization, and implementing pre-examinationby experts in theDepartment.
Then,thepostdoctoral fellows Zuo Zhou and Zhou Yanglin of the Department of Electrical Engineering delivered speeches. From topic selection to writing, Dr. Zuo Zhou gave a detailed introduction to his applicationfor the Beijing Natural Science Fund. Dr. Zhou Yanglin sharedhis experience from participating in the research group’s application for the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Zhou Kai,DeputyDirector of the ProjectDivision of the Research Institute of the National Natural Science Foundation, was also invited to themobilization meeting. She comprehensively introduced theorganizational structure of the various departments of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the project application and review management process, the specific requirements and precautions for application writing, etc., interpretedthe 2022 fund application policies in detail, emphasizedtherequirement forstyle of study, integrity and ethics.She also highlighted the details in applying for the fund, and answered the questions from the participants on the spot.
This mobilization meetingwasheld online and offline at the same time. More than 100 teachers, postdoctoral fellows and researchers from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Energy Internet Innovation Research Institute, and Sichuan Energy Internet Research Instituteof Tsinghua Universityattended the meeting.
