On the afternoon of November 10, 2021, the Department of Electrical Engineeringand Applied Electronicsheld a communication and mobilization meeting for the promotion of prospective teachers. The meeting was presided over by Kang Chongqing, Dean of the Department.

Yu Xinjie, Secretary of the Party Committee andHR Supervisor of the Department, first introduced the issues that should be paid attention to in the application materials and report explanations when applying for a title promotion, with special emphasis on the condensing methods of teaching and scientific research results.Then, Kang Chongqing introduced the situation of prospective associate professors being promoted to long-term associate professors, emphasizing the need tofocus on bright spots andpay attention to the accumulation of usual achievements and thecomprehensivedevelopment of teaching, scientific research and public service. Most of the prospective teachers of the Department of Electrical Engineering participated in this meeting. Finally, the participating teachers and newly recruited assistant professors exchangedtheir views onthe latest career development mentor (mentor) system, discussed related activities and gains, and suggested that the career development mentor system should be actively used to improve various career plans including professional title promotion.
