Professor Zeng Rong of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics of Tsinghua University welcomed Chen Zhongqiu and his entourage, introduced the development history and present situation of EEA, and particularly introduced the main research directions and industrial transformation achievement of EEA based on the State key Laboratory of Power system. He said that EEA attached great importance to the layout of scientific research in the field of transportation mechatronics, the application of new electric power technology in the field of traditional transportation mechatronics is particularly important and urgent with the energy development of "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutralizing", and the cooperation between the two sides is right in time.

Then, Zeng Qinyuan, deputy chief engineer of CCCC Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. and general manager of the Technology Center, introduced the scientific and technological achievements made by the company in building information model (BIM) technology application, smart port, smart highway, rail transit power integration and the joint innovation mechanism of industry-university-research. Three teachers from EEA introduced the research achievements and technical applications in related fields respectively. Associate Professor Yu Zhanqing introduced "Application Scenarios and Core Technologies of Flexible DC Power Grid", Associate Professor Lu Chao introduced "Progress of Flexible Traction Power supply Technology for Rail Transit", and Associate Professor Hu Jun introduced "Intelligent Perception of Power Grid and Equipment Status Based on Micro Electrical Sensors".
Having listened to the introduction of relevant research results, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions, believing that they have broad space for cooperation in the field of transportation machinery and electricity, carry out further exchanges and cooperation in the direction of rail transit DC power supply and flexible power supply, actively explore the collaborative integration and innovation mechanism of industry-university-research between colleges and enterprises, and reach substantive cooperation as soon as possible.
