On the morning of March 5, 2019, the launching ceremony of the cooperation project between Delta Group and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology (EEA) Tsinghua University (THU) was held in Conference Room 203 of the West Main Building of Tsinghua University. Eight people, including Ke Zixing, vice chairman of Delta Group, Zhang Jianzhong, general manager of EISBG and Zhang Jinfa, director of Shanghai Design Center of Delta Group, visited the EEA, THU. Han Yingduo, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and professor of the EEA, Prof. Zeng Rong, director of Personnel Department and the EEA THU, Kang Chongqing, director of the EEA, Yu Xinjie, secretary of Party Committee of the EEA, deputy Directors Xiao Xi and Lu Zongxiang of the EEA, Cheng Lin, deputy director of the EEA Research Institute for Electrical Power System, Sun Kai, director of the EEA Research Institute for Electrical Power Electronics, Yu Zhanqing, head of Party Office of the EEA, attended exchange activities. Yu Xinjie presided over the meeting.

At the welcoming ceremony, Kang Chongqing, on behalf of the EEA, welcomed the delta group’s visit. He reviewed the deep origins of cooperation between the two sides and looked forward to more pragmatic, innovative and far-reaching cooperation under the joint efforts of the two sides in view of the forthcoming cooperation projects.

Later, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the specific implementation plan of the cooperative projects, and exchanged views and full details of relevant technologies.

Accompanied by the EEA leaders, the Delta Group visited the National Key Laboratory of Safety Control and Simulation of Power Systems and Large Power Generation Equipment.
