In order to cultivate high-level intellectual property talents with a global vision, Tsinghua University cooperates with WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) to initiate a new Juris Master (LL.M.) program specialized in ‘Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy’. The one-year program will be taught in English, and confer a Juris Master degree upon graduation.
The program curriculum reaches the following subjects:
1) Introduction to Intellectual Property Law; 2) IP and Creative Industries (Copyright); 3) Intellectual Property Litigation; 4) Internet Regulation; 5) Data and AI Governance; 6) Pharmaceutical Innovation and IP; 7) IP and Antitrust; 8) Standard Setting and IP; 9) Open Innovation, etc.
Required qualifications of applicants:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree(or above) in law, or be expecting a bachelor's degree(or above) in law by July 2024. Non-native English speakers must meet the minimum English proficiency requirement: IELTS:6.0/TOEFL:90.
