The Tsinghua-MIT-CUHK Research Center for Theoretical Computer Science was inaugurated at Tsinghua University yesterday. It is the first joint research center established by a Chinese University with a top American counterpart in the field of theoretical computer science. Tsinghua, MIT and CUHK, three top universities with respective advantages in computer science, will join efforts in nurturing talents. A joint research group made up of six students, with two undergraduates and two graduate students from each side will be set up and carry out research activities in Tsinghua, MIT and CUHK.
